Terms of Service

Effective August 12, 2026. Please read these Terms carefully before using Resirox.

1. Introduction and acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of Resirox, including our website, customer dashboard, reseller dashboard, APIs, proxy products, support channels, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, purchasing credit, generating an API key, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Authority to agree

If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. “You” includes both you and that organization.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for operational, security, legal, or product reasons. The effective date above will be updated. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept it.

2. Definitions

Key terms

For these Terms:

  • “Account” means a registered user account.
  • “API Key” means a credential issued to authenticate API requests.
  • “Bandwidth” means data transmitted through a metered proxy plan, measured by our systems in bytes or GB.
  • “Proxy Services” means our network access products, including residential proxy access.
  • “Reseller” means an account we have approved to access the reseller workspace or reseller API.
  • “User Content” means data or requests you transmit, route, access, or process through the Services.

3. Eligibility, registration, and verification

Eligibility

You must not use the Services if doing so would violate applicable law, sanctions, or export restrictions.

Accurate information

You must provide accurate, complete account information and keep it current.

Review and verification

We may request identity, payment, business, or use-case information before or after activation. We may approve, decline, restrict, or suspend an Account where verification is incomplete or we identify a security, fraud, legal, or operational risk.

4. Account security and responsibility

Credentials

You are responsible for safeguarding passwords, API keys, proxy credentials, and access tokens. Do not expose them in public repositories, browser-side code, screenshots, or to unauthorized persons.

Activity under your Account

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your Account and keys, whether or not you intended it. Notify us promptly at the support address below if you believe your Account or a key has been compromised.

Security action

We may reset credentials, revoke keys, require additional verification, or suspend access when we reasonably believe an Account is compromised or used contrary to these Terms.

5. Services and technical limitations

Service model

We provide proxy access and related account, billing, API, and reseller tools. Product availability, targeting options, routing, and credentials may depend on upstream network providers and may change over time.

No guarantee of anonymity or outcomes

Proxy routing does not guarantee anonymity, privacy, untraceability, compatibility, access to a target site, a particular IP location, speed, success rate, or business result. Websites and platforms may detect, block, throttle, or challenge proxy traffic.

Availability and maintenance

Services are provided on an “as available” basis. We may perform maintenance, make changes, or suspend features for security, capacity, legal, or operational reasons. Unless a written agreement says otherwise, no SLA or uptime commitment applies.

6. Permitted use and API use

Lawful use only

You may use the Services only for lawful, legitimate purposes and in accordance with applicable law and the terms of each website, platform, or service you access.

API and automation

You must keep API keys secret, follow documented request formats and limits, and implement reasonable retry behavior. We may throttle or restrict requests to protect service stability or investigate misuse.

High-risk restrictions

Do not use the Services where failure or misuse could cause material harm, including medical decision-making, financial eligibility decisions, unlawful surveillance, or safety-critical systems.

7. Prohibited uses (acceptable use policy)

You must not use, attempt to use, or permit another person to use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized purpose.

Prohibited conduct includes

Without limiting the above, you may not:

  • Commit or facilitate scams, payment abuse, or other deceptive activity.
  • Bypass access controls; exploit vulnerabilities; or interfere with a network, service, or security measure.
  • Transmit malware, ransomware, spyware, viruses, harmful code, spam, or abusive automated traffic.
  • Scrape, collect, or process personal data or third-party content in violation of law, privacy rights, contractual restrictions, or a platform’s terms.
  • Use the Services for harassment, stalking, threats, child sexual exploitation, trafficking, terrorism, or any other serious criminal activity.
  • Evade sanctions, export controls, lawful restrictions, bans, rate limits, or platform controls where doing so is unlawful or prohibited.
  • Resell, sublicense, share, redistribute, or provide proxy access to others unless we have expressly approved you as a Reseller in writing.

8. Monitoring, enforcement, and suspension

Security and abuse monitoring

We may collect and review account, authentication, billing, usage, and technical metadata as reasonably necessary to operate the Services, enforce these Terms, detect abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not undertake a general obligation to monitor all User Content.

Enforcement

If we reasonably believe there is a violation or risk, we may issue a warning, limit traffic, revoke keys, suspend or terminate an Account, cancel an order, block a destination or network, preserve records, and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

Immediate action

We may act without prior notice where necessary to protect users, upstream providers, the public, our infrastructure, or our legal position.

9. Billing, plans, and bandwidth

Prepaid balance

Account funds are prepaid credit. A top-up does not itself purchase a particular proxy plan; a charge occurs when you purchase a plan, add data, enable an applicable renewal, or create a paid reseller order.

Usage measurement

Metered plan consumption is calculated using provider and Resirox usage records. Displayed usage may refresh after a delay. Where permitted by law, our recorded usage is controlling for billing purposes.

Pricing and taxes

Prices are displayed in USD unless stated otherwise. We may change future pricing, packages, discounts, or availability without affecting completed purchases. You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, and payment-provider charges.

Insufficient balance and failed payments

We may decline a purchase or renewal when your balance is insufficient or a payment is rejected, reversed, flagged, or disputed. You authorize us to take reasonable steps to prevent fraud and to reverse credits where a payment is invalidated.

10. Refunds, cancellation, and chargebacks

Refund policy

Proxy bandwidth, activated plans, consumed usage, and fees paid to fulfil an order are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

Unused credit and cancellation

Unused balance, partial plan use, or unused time does not automatically create a refund entitlement. You may stop using the Services at any time; cancellation does not reverse completed purchases.

Payment disputes

Before starting a chargeback or payment dispute, contact support so we can investigate. We may suspend Accounts, revoke access, or recover reasonable costs related to fraudulent or improper disputes, subject to applicable law.

11. Reseller access and API keys

Approval

Reseller access is granted only to Accounts we approve. We may set limits, require additional verification, or revoke Reseller access at any time.

Reseller obligations

A Reseller is responsible for its customers, downstream marketing, support commitments, pricing, and legal compliance. Resellers must not make statements, warranties, or representations on our behalf unless we have approved them in writing.

Reseller API orders

Orders created through the reseller API charge the Reseller’s own account balance and may provision upstream services immediately. Resellers must use appropriate safeguards against duplicate requests and maintain secure handling of credentials returned by the API.

12. Privacy, logging, and data handling

Data processing

We process personal and service-related data to create Accounts, provide support, process payments, secure the Services, prevent fraud, enforce these Terms, and comply with law.

Logs and retention

We may retain account records, payment information, API-key metadata, authentication events, security records, and service usage data for periods reasonably necessary for the purposes above, dispute resolution, and legal requirements.

Third parties

The Services rely on third-party providers for infrastructure, payments, authentication, analytics, and proxy supply. Those providers may process data as necessary to provide their services. See our Privacy Policy, where available, for additional details.

13. Intellectual property and user content

Our property

The Services, software, branding, logos, documentation, and content are owned by Resirox, its licensors, or suppliers. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Services for their intended purpose.

Restrictions

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit the Services except as permitted by law or an express written agreement.

Your responsibility

You retain responsibility for User Content and traffic sent through the Services. You represent that your content and conduct comply with law and do not infringe another person’s rights.

14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resirox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Our total aggregate liability for claims arising from the Services will not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid to us during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company and its personnel from claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of third-party rights.

15. Governing law, disputes, and general terms

Informal resolution first

Before bringing a formal claim, contact support@resirox.com with a detailed description of the issue and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.

Governing law and venue

Except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by a court of competent jurisdiction in that location.

General terms

These Terms, together with referenced policies and written order terms, are the entire agreement about the Services. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
